Altitude Aerospace est à la recherche d’un Professionnel en Ingénierie – Stress Structure qui souhaiterait rejoindre une entreprise dynamique, flexible et en forte croissance à Montréal.
Fondé en 2005, le Groupe ALTITUDE AEROSPACE est un bureau d’étude en ingénierie qui se spécialise dans le développement de nouveaux programmes d’aéronefs ainsi que pour l’entretien de flottes d’avions existantes au travers de ses agréments (DAO Transport Canada, DOA EASA and délégués FAA).
De l'ingénierie à la certification, le groupe propose des solutions d'ingénierie clé en main à toutes les étapes du cycle de vie de l'avion, de la conception au support en service, comprenant les activités suivantes :
• Développement de produits (de la conception à la certification)
• Modifications avions (STC, modifications mineures/majeures)
• Ingénierie en service (support AOG 24h/24 et 7j/7, ingénierie de réparation et certification)

Altitude Aerospace is looking for a Professional, Engineering – Structure Stress who would like to join a dynamic, flexible and fast-growing company in Montreal.
Founded in 2005, the ALTITUDE AEROSPACE Group is an engineering office that specializes in the development of new aircraft programs as well as the maintenance of existing aircraft fleets through its approvals (DAO Transport Canada, DOA EASA and FAA delegates).
From engineering to certification, the group offers turnkey engineering solutions at all stages of the aircraft life cycle, from design to in-service support, including the following activities:
• Product development (from design to certification)
• Aircraft modifications (STC, minor/major modifications)
• In-Service Engineering (24/7 AOG support, repair engineering and certification)
A group of 3 SMEs on a human scale, we employ more than 150 engineers, spread across three sites: Montreal (Canada), Toulouse (France) and Portland (Oregon, USA).

Dans le cadre de ce mandat vous aurez l'opportunité de contribuer à nos différents projets, que ce soit pour des nouveaux développement ou de modifications d'avions.
VOS PRINCIPALES RESPONSABILITES :
• Participer à la définition technique des exigences de stress avec le client ainsi qu’à l'évaluation des solutions structurelles ;
• Préparer le dimensionnement préliminaire et conceptuel des structures d’avion ;
• Effectuer les analyses statiques pour la certification des structures d’avion ;
• Effectuer les analyses par éléments finis et l'extraction des charges internes sur Nastran/Patran;
• Effectuer des calculs manuels conventionnels en utilisant les méthodologies standards
• Préparer, réviser et valider des rapports de stress ou tout autre livrable requis ainsi que les dessins d’ingénierie ;
• Préparer des rapports de certification, des plans de test et des plans d'installation.

ENGLISH:
As part of this mandate you will have the opportunity to contribute to our various projects, whether for new developments or modifications to aircraft.
YOUR MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES :
• Participate in the definition of the engineering stress requirements with the client and in the evaluation of structural solutions;
• Prepare preliminary and conceptual sizing of aircraft structure;
• Perform Static Stress Analysis for the certification of airframe structures;
• Perform Finite Element Analysis and Internal Loads extraction on Nastran-Patran;
• Perform conventional hand calculations using standard methodologies
• Prepare, review and valid stress notes and other required stress deliverables as well as engineering drawing;
• Prepare certification reports, test plans and validate drawings.

VOS QUALIFICATIONS :
• Vous avez un diplôme en génie mécanique/aérospatiale ou une expérience de travail équivalente ;
• Vous avez un minimum de 5 années d’expérience en calcul de structures;
• Vous avez une bonne connaissance Patran/Nastran et Catia V5 ;
• Vous maitrisez à l’écrit et à l’oral le français et l’anglais ;

• You have a degree in mechanical/aerospace engineering or equivalent work experience;
• You have a minimum of 5 years of experience in structure calculations;
• You have a good knowledge of Patran/Nastran and Catia V5;
• You are proficient in written and spoken French and English;
